Dress Code
Note: It's the spirit of the law that we're looking for here. Also, it's perfectly acceptable
to show up in street clothes with your outfit in tow. We will ask to see it before we
let you in.
And if you're looking for places to purchase an outfit or find inspiration, click
here.
Acceptable:
- Outfits made of rubber, PVC, leather, metal.
- Outfits exposing aspects of the body not considered acceptable in public.
- Outfits expressing subversiveness or disenfranchisement from the norm.
- Gothic.
- Drag.
- Formal and vintage formal.
- Vintage and modern "authoritarian" uniform.
- The overtly sexual/sensual.
- Costumes.
- The perverse.
- The sublime.
- Nekkid.
A word about nudity: while it is acceptable for this event, we don't recommend it as your sole
clothing option for the evening. The roof deck would be downright uncomfortable and the main
floor is unheated. (There will be enough people in the venue that the main floor should be comfortable
within an hour or two.) Going naked also leaves you with no pockets to carry anything, so if you're
planning on being in the buff, you should bring along some sort of bag or pouch for any belongings you
don't want to leave in coat check.
NOT Acceptable:
- Street clothes.
- A predominance of conventional fabrics, including cotton, wool, polyester, with the above, acceptable exceptions.
- Underwear not of an overtly sexual/sensual/perverse nature.
